To apply for this Permanent Commission entry, candidates must meet the following standards:
 * Marital Status: Unmarried Men and Women.
 * Educational Qualification: * Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
   * Minimum 50% marks in English (either in Class 10 or Class 12).
 * Mandatory Exam: Must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2025. Selection for the SSB interview is based strictly on the All India Common Rank List (CRL).
 * Age Limit: Born between January 2, 2007 and July 1, 2009 (both dates inclusive).
