๐Ÿ“ Eligibility & Admission Requirements

  • Academic Qualification: You must have passed Class 12 in 2024, 2025, or be appearing in 2026.
  • Subject Requirement:
    • B.E./B.Tech: Physics, Mathematics, and one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational subjects).
    • B.Arch: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are mandatory.
  • The "75% Rule": While there is no minimum mark to appear for JEE Main, to get admission into NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs, you need:
    • General/OBC/EWS: 75% in Class 12 (or top 20 percentile).
    • SC/ST: 65% in Class 12.

⚡ Exam Pattern & Marking (Paper 1 - B.Tech)

The NTA has reverted to the "compulsory" format for Section B, meaning there is no internal choice in the numerical questions this year.

  • Total Questions: 75 (25 questions each for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths).
  • Section A (MCQs): 20 questions per subject.
  • Section B (Numerical): 5 questions per subject (All mandatory).
  • Marking Scheme:
    • +4 for every correct answer.
    • -1 for every incorrect answer (Applies to both MCQs and Numerical questions).
    • 0 for unattempted questions.

If you are applying for Session 2 now, keep these ready:

  1. Photograph: 10kb to 200kb (80% face visible, white background).
  2. Signature: 4kb to 30kb (Clear black ink).
  3. Class 10 Certificate: 50kb to 300kb (PDF format).
  4. Category Certificate: (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) if applicable.
  5. Aadhaar/Identity Proof: Used for biometric verification at the center.

Note: If you already appeared for Session 1, you do not need to register again. Just log in with your Session 1 credentials, select "Session 2," and pay the fee.
