The exam is conducted in two sessions daily. Candidates must appear only in the session specifically mentioned on their admit card.

## Critical Last-Minute Guidelines
With the exam starting immediately, please ensure you follow these official protocols to avoid disqualification:
- Reporting Time: Arrive at the center 60 to 90 minutes before your shift. Late entry is strictly prohibited once the gate closes.
- Mandatory Documents:
- Admit Card: A clear, high-quality hard copy on A4 size paper.
- Photo ID: The original and valid photo ID used during registration (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, PAN, or Driving License). Photocopies are not accepted.
- Prohibited Items: No electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, or personal calculators. A virtual calculator will be provided on your computer screen.
- Dress Code: Wear simple, comfortable clothing. Large buttons or overly complex outfits may lead to additional security checks.
## Important Post-Exam Dates
- Response Sheets: Expected to be released a few days after Feb 15 on the official portal.
- Answer Keys: Provisional keys will be published for challenges following the response sheet release.
- GATE 2026 Results: Scheduled to be announced on March 19, 2026.
