New Exam Rules for 2026
The Government of Gujarat has notified the new recruitment rules (RR) for 2026, replacing the old 2023 framework. The selection process now follows a strict two-tier system:
- Phase 1: Preliminary Exam (CBRT - MCQ)
- Marks: 150 (Common for Group A & B).
- Nature: Screening only (Marks are not counted for final merit).
- Phase 2: Main Examination
- Group A: Descriptive Test (3 Papers, Total 350 Marks).
- Group B: Objective Type (MCQ, 200 Marks).
- Final Merit: Based only on Mains Examination marks.
