3. Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have an Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant stream from a recognized university. Final-year students are also typically eligible to apply provided they can submit proof of passing by the course start date.
  • Age Limit (as of October 1, 2026):
    • Minimum Age: 20 Years
    • Maximum Age: 27 Years
    • Birth Date Range: Candidates must be born between October 1, 1999, and September 30, 2006 (both dates inclusive).
    • For Widows of Defense Personnel: Maximum age is 35 years.

5. Selection Process

The selection is based on a merit-based shortlisting followed by psychological and physical testing:

  2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a 5-day Service Selection Board (SSB) interview process (Stage I & Stage II).
