2. Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Matriculation (10th Class pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Local Language: You must have knowledge (reading, writing, and speaking) of the local language/dialect of the state you are applying for.
  • Domicile: You must possess a domicile certificate for the state you apply to.
  • Age Limit: 18–27 years.
    • Relaxation: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years).

Note: Tier I has a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Tier II is generally qualifying in nature but essential for moving to the interview.

  • Pay Scale: Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100) in the Pay Matrix.
  • Allowances: Includes Special Security Allowance (20% of basic pay) and Cash compensation in lieu of duties performed on holidays.

  • General Awareness: Current Affairs (last 6–8 months), Indian History, Geography, and Polity.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Number Systems, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, and Arithmetic.
