  • City Intimation Slip Released: February 3, 2026
  • Admit Card Release Date: February 7, 2026 (4 days prior to the exam)

Exam Pattern (CBT)

The Computer Based Test (CBT) will follow this general structure:

  • Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Total Duration: 90 minutes
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks assigned for each question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Subjects Covered: General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Technical/Professional knowledge relevant to the post.

How to Download the Admit Card

  1. Select Your Region: Go to the official website of the RRB region you applied to (e.g., RRB Patna, RRB Kolkata, etc.).
  2. Login: Find the link for "E-Call Letter for CEN 04/2025" and enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
  3. Verification: Complete the captcha and click "Login."
  4. Download: Download the hall ticket and ensure you print it on an A4 size sheet.

Mandatory Documents for the Exam Center

You will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without the following:

  • Printed Admit Card: A clear, color, or black-and-white printout.
  • Original Photo ID: A valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar Card with photo, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License). Note: Photocopies or digital IDs on phones are not accepted.
  • Passport Size Photograph: Carry at least one color photograph (the same one used during the application).

Important Instructions

  • Biometrics: Digital signatures and LTI (Left Thumb Impression) will be taken at the venue.
  • Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets (calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches), belts, and jewelry are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
  • Reporting Time: Check your admit card for the "Gate Closing Time." It is recommended to reach the center at least 1 hour before the gate closes.
