The Indian Navy has released the comprehensive notification for the Agniveer SSR, MR, and SSR Medical Assistant recruitment for the 2027 batches.

Eligibility Criteria

Recruitment is open to unmarried Indian male and female candidates for SSR and MR. However, the SSR (Medical) post is currently restricted to unmarried male candidates.

Post	Educational Qualification
Agniveer SSR	10+2 with Maths and Physics + one of Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science (min. 50% aggregate).
Agniveer MR	Class 10th (Matriculation) passed with a minimum of 50% marks.
SSR (Medical)	10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) with min. 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Age Limit:

• 01/2027 Batch: Born between December 1, 2004, and May 31, 2009.
• 02/2027 Batch: Born between May 1, 2005, and October 31, 2009.

Selection Process

The recruitment involves a multi-stage process to test mental and physical suitability:

1. Stage I: Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) – A computer-based examination.
2. Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – Includes a 1.6 km run, squats, push-ups, and sit-ups.
3. Stage II: Written Examination – A second written test conducted after the PFT.
4. Medical Examination & Document Verification – Final assessment before training at INS Chilka.
