Key Dates and Schedule

  • City Slip Release Date: March 28, 2026
  • Paper-II Exam Date: April 7, 2026

Examination Details

  • Exam Type: Paper-II (Computer Based Examination).
  • Disruptions/Subjects: Civil & Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (based on the candidate's specialization).
  • Purpose of the City Slip: It contains the name of the exam city and the date of the exam. It is intended to help candidates arrange for travel and accommodation.
    • Note: The City Slip is NOT the actual Admit Card and cannot be used for entry into the examination hall.

How to Download the City Slip

Candidates can access their information through the official SSC website:

  1. Official Portal: Visit ssc.gov.in.
  2. Login: Enter your Registration Number and Password in the designated login module.
  3. Link: Click on the notification titled "Information regarding the City of Examination, Admission Certificate and Scribe Entry Pass for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2025 (Paper-II)".
  4. Action: View your exam city and shift details. It is recommended to download and save a digital copy or take a printout for your records.

Admit Card (Admission Certificate)

The final Admit Card, which includes the specific venue address, roll number, and reporting time, will be released a few days after the city slip. Candidates must download the Admit Card from the same official website (ssc.gov.in) 48 to 72 hours before their scheduled exam time.

  • Ensure your login credentials are correct.
