The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finalized the timeline for the upcoming exam:

  • Exam Date: May 3, 2026 (Sunday)
  • Exam Timing: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST)
  • City Intimation Slip: Released today, April 13, 2026.
  • Admit Card Release: Expected in the last week of April 2026.
  • Result Declaration: Tentatively scheduled for June 2026.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

The syllabus is based on the NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines and generally follows the NCERT Class 11 and 12 curriculum.

  • Biology (Botany + Zoology): 90 Questions (360 Marks)
  • Marking Scheme:
    • +4 for every correct answer.
    • -1 for every incorrect answer (Negative Marking).

⚠️ Vital Action Items

  1. Download City Slip: Go to neet.nta.nic.in immediately to check your allotted city. You will need your Application Number and Date of Birth.
  2. No Multiple Forms: Ensure you only have one valid application. NTA has warned that duplicate applications will lead to a 3-year ban.
  3. Reporting Time: On May 3rd, the last entry into the examination hall is 1:30 PM. Candidates arriving after this will not be allowed under any circumstances.
