The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finalized the timeline for the upcoming exam:

Minimum Age: You must be 17 years old by December 31, 2026 (Born on or before Dec 31, 2009).
Maximum Age: There is no upper age limit for appearing in NEET UG.
Academic: Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
Minimum Marks (PCB Aggregate):
- General/EWS: 50%
- OBC/SC/ST: 40%
- PwD (General): 45%

The syllabus is based on the NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines and generally follows the NCERT Class 11 and 12 curriculum.

Physics: 45 Questions (180 Marks)
Chemistry: 45 Questions (180 Marks)
Biology (Botany + Zoology): 90 Questions (360 Marks)
Marking Scheme:
- +4 for every correct answer.
- -1 for every incorrect answer (Negative Marking).
- 0 for unattempted questions.

Download City Slip: Go to neet.nta.nic.in immediately to check your allotted city. You will need your Application Number and Date of Birth.
No Multiple Forms: Ensure you only have one valid application. NTA has warned that duplicate applications will lead to a 3-year ban.
Reporting Time: On May 3rd, the last entry into the examination hall is 1:30 PM. Candidates arriving after this will not be allowed under any circumstances.
