Overview

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the final results for the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025. This final list includes candidates who have successfully cleared the written examination and the subsequent interviews held by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.

Total Candidates Recommended

A total of 302 candidates have been recommended for appointment across three primary defense academies:

Note: The results for the Officers Training Academy (OTA) are typically released separately at a later date.

Important Notes and Guidelines

  1. Selection Overlap: As shown in the toppers list, some candidates have qualified for more than one academy. The final assignment depends on their merit position, medical fitness, and preference.
  2. Provisional Candidacy: The candidature of all 302 recommended candidates is currently provisional.
  3. Document Verification: All qualified candidates must submit their original certificates in support of their date of birth, educational qualifications, and NCC claim (if applicable) to the respective Headquarters (Army, Navy, or Air Force) based on their first choice.
    • Deadline: Original certificates must be submitted within a few days to avoid cancellation of candidature.
  4. Medical Fitness: Qualification in the final merit list does not guarantee admission. The final selection is contingent upon clearing the medical standards set by the Ministry of Defence.
  5. Change of Address: Any change in postal address should be communicated directly to the respective Army/Navy/Air Force Headquarters immediately.

How to Check Marks

The individual marks of both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be uploaded by the UPSC on its official website.

  • Availability: Usually within 15 days from the date of declaration of the final result.
  • Duration: The marks will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days.
